Kourtney Simmang
Founder, CEO, Nutritional Practitioner
Kourtney Simmang (BS, CNC, FDNP) is the founder of Kale Health and is widely esteemed as a leading functional diagnostic nutritionist within the field of functional medicine. She overcame chronic health struggles through functional nutrition, lab testing, and extensive research, finding lasting solutions to hormonal, gut, and immune issues. With her distinctive expertise and unwavering dedication, she has proficiently guided women towards sustainable wellness by leveraging personalized nutrition plans and supplemental strategies.

Sarah King
President, Nutritional Practitioner
Sarah King (BS, CHC, NTP) is a seasoned nutritional practitioner and the President at Kale Health, dedicated to helping women navigate their health challenges. At Kale Health, she plays a crucial role in overseeing the quality of the practice, ensuring that high standards are consistently maintained. Her diverse educational background includes training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the Nutritional Therapy Association, undergraduate in operations and supply chain, and a master’s degree in nutrition and functional medicine from the University of Western States.

Dr. Todd Born
Naturopathic Physician
Dr. Born is a Naturopathic Practitioner and certified nutrition specialist. He is a medical wellness advisor for the International Medical Wellness Association, a key opinion leader for Augurex Life Sciences Corp, and an expert consultant to the dietary supplement industry both domestically and internationally.
He graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA in 2010 and completed his residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, with rotations at Evergreen and Harborview Medical Centers’ Emergency Medicine Departments, Virginia Mason Hospital’s department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Spine Clinic, and Swedish Hospital Integrative Family Medicine.
Dr. Born has been published extensively, appeared on multiple news and national radio shows, and lectured for the National Psoriasis Foundation and National Arthritis Foundation. He speaks at medical conferences across the country and internationally. Dr. Born focuses on using integrative medicine to treat families of all ages with complex chronic diseases, especially difficult and challenging cases. He sees patients all over the US and globally.

Dr. Maggie Pilat Rzeszuto
Naturopathic Physician, CN-P Instructor
Dr. Maggie is a Naturopathic Practitioner specializing in integrative wellness through evidence-based medicine, offering personalized, holistic care. Her expertise includes preventative healthcare, nutritional and functional medicine, hormone therapy, and dietary counseling. She supports women’s health conditions, nutrient deficiencies, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine and metabolic disorders, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions, chronic disease, fatigue, and allergies/sensitivities. Dr. Maggie earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. With nearly a decade of clinical experience, she is dedicated to individualized patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog.
